The 5000 Role Models of Excellence will hold its 32nd Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Scholarship Breakfast on Saturday, January 18, 2025, with keynote speaker Congressman Hakeem Jeffries. Hosted by Congresswoman Frederica Wilson and held annually on Dr. Martin Luther King Day, the Role Models of Excellence breakfast emphasizes the need for adult mentorship in the lives of youths, and demonstrates how powerful, accomplished men can positively influence aspiring teenagers. The breakfast begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
